Mercer Island beats Skyline | Girls prep tennis

The Mercer Island girls tennis team beat Skyline on Thursday, March 14. The final match score was 6-1.
In the singles competition, Nora Tan beat Julia Lioubarski 6-1, 6-1, while Lydia Venditti beat Shareenn Sivakumas 6-0, 6-0. Gabby Venditti beat Jasmine Ye 6-0, 6-2 and Miji Suhr beat Sherry Huange 6-2, 6-1.
In the doubles matches, Caroline Dillon and Caroline Hamilton beat Sonya Ye and Jessica Journey 6-2, 6-0. Sarah Kahan and Ashley Larson beat Sonjana Galgalikas and Dianna (no last name given) 7-5, 6-4. Skyline won the match between Courntey Kirton and Avery Sampson over Mercer Island’s Mindy Wienberg and Catherine Seifert 6-3, 5-7, 1-0.
