Baseball camp for Mercer Islanders in April | Sports brief

The Mercer Island Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with Baseball Jazz, will be hosting a baseball camp for Islanders.

The Pro Baseball Instructional Camp is for players of all abilities, taught by former big league players who will help players take their game to the next level. The camp is for kids ages 8 through 13.

The first session runs April 1-3, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the South Mercer Playfields. The cost is $93 for residents and $111 for non-residents.

The second session will run June 17-20 at Island Crest Park.
