Mercer Island dominates against Interlake | Boys prep soccer

The Mercer Island boys soccer team earned a KingCo win on Tuesday, March 26. The Islanders won 5-0.

Josh Lee scored the first goal in the 15th minute of the game, assisted by Sean Bender. Bender went on to score his first goal of the match, assisted by Nate Umlauf in the 23rd minute.

Nate Schuler scored, assisted by Umlauf in the second half to make it a 3-0 game in the 50th minute. Sam Valerio scored an unassisted goal for the Islanders in the 55th minute and the final point of the game came from Ryan Hill, assisted by Peter Battisti in the 75th minute.

The Islanders to travel to Juanita on Friday, March 29 for a 7:30 p.m. game against the Rebels.
