Mercer Island earns fifth win, beats Emerald Ridge-Puyallup | Boys prep lacrosse

The Mercer Island boys lacrosse team picked up their fifth win of the season by beating Emerald Ridge-Puyallup at home on Wednesday, March 27. The final score was 16-1 for the Islanders.

Evan Condon scored four goals with two assists and three ground balls during the game, while teammate Steen Swedstedt scored three goals and had one assist. Grant Priesler had three goals, three asssits and two ground balls in the win and Devlin Conway scored two goals with five ground balls. Goalies Scotty Lee and Benji Rothenberg each made three saves during the game.

Mercer Island, now 5-1-0 overall and 4-0-0 in league, will take on Skyline on Friday, March 29 in an 8 p.m. game at MIHS.
