Mercer Island ties with Juanita | Boys prep soccer

The Mercer Island boys soccer team tied with Juanita on Friday, March 29. The final score was 2-2.

Mercer Island struck first, off a Josh Lee goal, assisted by Sean Bender in the 26th minute of the game. Less than 10 minutes later, Riley O'Rourke, assisted by Noah Boucher scored for Juanita to make it a 1-1 tie in the 34th minute.

After halftime, the Islander duo of Ryan Hill and Bender scored in the 58th minute to momentarily give the Islanders a lead. Just two minutes later, Nick Horne, assisted by Brady Clement score for Juanita.

The Islanders will play at Liberty on Tuesday, April 2 in a 7:30 p.m. game.
