Mercer Island downs Bothell during Game of the Week | Boys prep lacrosse

The Mercer Island boys lacrosse team earned a Game of the Week win over Bothell on Tuesday, April 9. The Islanders won 15-9.

Mercer Island got off to a hot start, scoring three points in the first quarter, followed by four more in the second to lead 7-1 at halftime.

Bothell picked up speed in the second half, scoring two points in the third quarter and six in the final minutes of the game. Mercer Island, however, kept up the earlier scoring pace, earning eight points in the third quarter alone.

The game was featured as the Washington State HIgh School Lacrosse Game of the Week and was broadcast on The Lacrosse Network. The broadcast is available here.

The Islanders will travel to Vancouver, Wash. on Friday, April 11 for a 7 p.m. game against King's Way.
