Mercer Island falls to Interlake | Prep fastpitch

The Mercer Island fastpitch team lost to Interlake on Thursday afternoon. The final score was 7-1 for the Saints.

Neither team scored until the bottom of the third inning when the Saints made the bases run four times. The Saints extended their lead to 7-0 in the bottom of the fourth.

Mercer Island was able to hold the Saints from scoring again in the game, while the Islanders scored their only run of the match in the top of the seventh inning.

Interlake scored seven runs on 10 hits during the game with three errors, while Mercer Island had one run on one hit with three errors.

Morgan Peyou was 1-3 at the plate, scoring the Islanders only run off a double.
