This year, each race, which will happen on the second Saturday of the month, will feature two races. Runners can join for the short or long race series, or run any distance on their own.

This year, things kick off on Saturday, May 11 with either a five or 10 mile run. The next run will take place on June 8 with either a eight of 13-mile run, followed by July 13 when runners can choose from either 10 or 20 miles. On Aug. 10 choose from a 13 or 25 mile run.

New this year is the addition of 5k runs on July 13 and Aug. 10. Runners who are new to the series are encouraged to take part in the 5ks.

The series is produced by Northwest Trail Runs and the Seattle Running Club. It benefits the King County Parks and has helped raise over $111,000 in the last decade.
