Mercer Island falls to Juanita in KingCo tournament to end season | Boys prep soccer

The Mercer Islander boys soccer season came to an end on Tuesday night in the KingCo tournament. The Islanders lost 1-0 to Juanita in the first round of the tournament, held at Mount Si High School.

Juanita’s Tristan White scored the game’s only goal, unassisted, in the 39th minute.

Despite chances to even the score, the Islanders could never hit the mark, ending the season. Juanita goalie Dominik Mayr was credited with the shutout.

Mercer Island finished the season with a 7-5-5 record this year.
