Mercer Island resident and senior at O'Dea High School helped the Irish golf team to a second place finish at the state tournament in May.

Michael Schaloum, a co-captain on the team, also won the sportsmanship medal during the tournament.

Schaloum will be attending and playing golf for the University of Redlands in the fall.
