The Mercer Island U13 girls Maroon soccer team participated in the Celebrate Shoreline tournament in mid-June making it to the tournament finals.

The team, which consists of 15 returning players and two new members, won games on Friday, June 14 and on Saturday, June 15 to earn a spot in the finals.

In the championship game, the team faced The Rockets from Renton, which won the tournament with a 1-0 score.

The Mercer Island team had seven players score 15 goals throughout the tournament.
