The Eastside FC girls 95 White team, including a player from Mercer Island, recently won the Presidents Cup regional title in Boise and will compete at the national tournament this month in Florida.

Jamie Mounger, a student at Mercer Island High School, is a member of the team. The team is coached by Ryan Dortch and Andrew Dortch.

The team won the 2013 Washington State Youth Soccer Challenge Cup in May, earning an invitation to the regional tournament. Teams from 10 states, such as Colorado, Nevada, Idaho and Utah played in the five day competition.

The team will now travel to Florida this month to play against the regional winners from the other three regions in the U.S.
