The Mercer Island Youth Soccer Club select U11 boys team recently played in the gold division at the Crossfire Select Cup tournament at the end of July. The team made it to the finals of the tournament in their division.

In their first year playing in the select division, the team faced off against Cascade FC in the tournament finals, falling 1-0.

The Crossfire Select tournament brings together 60 of the top Crossfire teams in the region, playing the tournament in Redmond.

The team includes: Dimitios Giampapa, Joey Duffie, Zach Loeser, Max Malakoff, Hunter Yetman, Tripp White, Henry Watson, Teddy El-Ghazzawy, Elias Malakoff, Alex Arron, Mitchie Ashburg and Joe Cookson. The team is coached by Colin Rigby and Paul Giampapa.
