Islander senior Kalen Hopkins, No. 4, powers his way on and over an Interlake defender into the end zone for his second of three touchdowns in the Oct. 4 game.

Quarterback Alfonso Gonzalez ran in the ball three times for a touchdown. Kicker Erik Peterson delivered five extra points. The Islanders also grabbed a safety in the first quarter.

The final score was Mercer Island 44, Interlake 7.
