MIHS volleyball finishes season undefeated in conference play

The Mercer Island volleyball team ended their regular season Monday, beating Bellevue 3-0. With the win, the Islanders finished with an undefeated record of 14-0 in 3A KingCo conference play and secured the top seed for the KingCo League Volleyball playoffs.

Celebrating "Senior Night" at Mercer Island High School, senior Sarah Lindquist had 9 kills and 10 digs for the Islanders, while seniors Kirby Emerson and Kristin Anderson each contributed 4 aces.

Next up for the Islanders is the KingCo 3A Volleyball Tournament, Thursday Oct. 31 at Juanita High School.
