Islanders rally late, take down Bellevue | Prep girls water polo

Mercer Island girls water polo scored three goals in the final period of its matchup with rival Bellevue to take down the Wolverines 5-3 Thursday, April 17 at Mary Wayte Pool. Michelle Na and Alicia Nordal each scored two goals for Mercer Island, and Jacque Li contributed one. In goal, Davis Simmons had two saves for the Islanders. Next up, Mercer Island will take on Newport at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 21 at Mary Wayte Pool.
