Thomas the Tank Engine to visit Snoqualmie

Preschoolers will get the thrill of their lives when Thomas the Tank Engine steams across the country this year. Thomas arrives in Snoqualmie for the Day Out with Thomas: The Thrill of the Ride Tour 2014, for two back-to-back weekends this month, July 12-13 and July 19-20.

Little engineers and their families are invited to take a 25-minute ride on their favorite engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway, and enjoy a day of Thomas and Friends-themed activities. The Northwest Railway Museum will also offer motor car rides, live steam models and model trains.

Rides depart every 45 minutes, rain or shine. Departure times begin at 9 a.m and run through 5:15 p.m each day of the event. Tickets  are $23 for ages two and up.

Call toll-free 866-468-630 or visit www.ticketweb.com/dowt or in person in the Snoqualmie Depot at 38625 S.E. King Street, Snoqualmie, Wash.
