Romar to speak at

the MI Boys & Girls Club

University of Washington basketball coach Lorenzo Romar will be the featured speaker at the Boys & Girls Club Business Breakfast at 7:00 a.m. on October 26 at the Mercer Island Boys & Girls Club. The Business Breakfast is a fundraising event that supports daily operations of the Boys & Girls Club. Coach Romar will speak on the importance of role models, mentoring and how to make a difference in the life of a child. Although admission is free, contributions will be requested at the event. Coach Romar is in his fourth season as head coach at the UW. He led the Huskies to a 29-6 record last season after making it to the 3rd round of the NCAA tournament.
