Eastside Catholic's Matt Boyd named '09 baseball MVP

Matt Boyd, an Island resident and senior at Eastside Catholic, was named the state baseball coaches association’s MVP for the spring baseball season. He took part in the All-State baseball game in Yakima recently with 72 of the state’s best senior baseball players. Boyd will attend Oregon State this fall to play for the Beavers.
