Volleyball beats Sammamish

The Islander girls volleyball team netted a league win over Sammamish High School last Thursday. The team earned a 3-0 victory over the Totems. The final scores were 26-24, 25-21 and 25-14.

Ariel Dewey had 21 assists, while Sabrina Rasmussen had eight kills. Alisa Owens had a team high of 10 digs, and Erin McKiernan had six kills. Emma Guthrie recorded five kills during the games and four assists.

This week, the team took on Interlake on Tuesday, after Reporter deadline, and will host Juanita on Thursday evening.
