The Mercer Island High School wrestling team took out Ballard on Thursday evening, beating the Beavers 73-6 in a non-conference match at MIHS.

Islander head coach Creighton Laughary said following the win the team was more mentally prepared for the meet, especially after a stressing take downs during practice.
