The Mercer Island boys basketball team picked up a home win last night, beating Juanita 57-44.

The Islanders (4-3, 6-8) had trouble in the first half finding their space, and the score remained close until the final minutes when the Rebel's lost many of their starting players to fouls.

Quinn Sterling had 13 points for the Islanders, while Kaj Sherman picked up 21 points for Mercer Island.

The Rebels senior starter Ryon Cunnigan had a big night for the team, despite the loss, garnering 26 points.
