Two students at Mercer Island High School and former members of the girls soccer team will sign National Letters of Intent today, committing to play women's soccer at two Washington state colleges.
Mary Hill and Erin Bourguignon have both been verbally committed for a while, but today is the first day high school seniors could sign letters saying they plan to play at the school they plan to attend.
Hill will be playing for Seattle University and Bourguignon will travel to Cheney to play for Eastern Washington University.
The duo, who were co-captains for the Islanders last season, helped the team make their first ever state championship debut, where they lost in a shoot-out to Columbia River.
