MIHS hires new boys tennis coach

Mercer Island High School has hired Jamie Dieveney to coach the boys tennis program starting this spring with the playoff season.

Dieveney, who works as the tennis pro at Mercer Island Beach Club, is a certified United State Professional Tennis Association pro and has been with the Beach Club for the past three years.

This will be his first experience coaching high school tennis.

The boys season, which begins in the fall, wraps up in the spring with the district and state playoffs. The spring sports season begins March 1.
