Mercer Island boys fall to Mount Si

The Mercer Island boys basketball team fell to Mount Si in the second round of the KingCo basketball playoffs on Thursday afternoon. The final score was 56-47 for the Wildcats.

The Islanders, who beat Juanita on Tuesday night to advance, now find themselves in the 3rd/4th place game tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. at Bellevue College.

The Islanders struggled in the first half to find their offensive footing before making a run in the third quarter. Despite their attemts the team oouldn't break past the Wildcats, who advance to tomorrow's championship game.
