MIHS senior takes first place at state judo championships

Mercer Island High School senior Molly O’Callahan recently finished first at the Washington State Judo Championships, held in Bellingham.

O’Callahan finished in the top spot in the senior International Judo Federation 73 kg weight division. She is a student at Mercer Island Judo Dojo.

The club will be hosting the 2010 Evergreen State Open Judo Championships on April 3 at the Mercer Island Boys & Girls Club, beginning at 10 a.m.
