Mercer Island golfer finishes fourth in off season tournament

Kyle Code, a member of the Mercer Island High School boys golf team, recently competed in the Cattermole Group Classic at Morgan Creek Golf Club in South Surrey, British Columbia. The event was part of the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour.

Code finished in a four-way tie for third place after a two day total of 161 in the boys 17-19 age division. Code shared his finish with Michael Wayrky of Tsawwassen, Ryan Grill of Abbotsford and Calum Miller of Grande Paraire, Alberta. There were 78 golfers in four different age divisions competing.

The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour is Canada's only national junior tour by completely by Canadian PGA professionals.
