WSU men’s club rowing, Mercer Island grad earn title

For the first time in the WSU men’s varsity 8’s rowing team history, the Cougars won the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association trophy.

Paul Ehlers, a 2007 MIHS grad, is a member of the team, helping beat teams from Gonzaga, University of California at Davis, UC San Diego and Santa Clara.

The WSU rowers also won the team competition in the JV8’s, lightweight 8’s, novice 8’s, men’s pair and women’s light four.
