Mercer Island's Nora Tan advances to semi-finals | State tennis

Mercer Island High School girls tennis player Nora Tan advanced to tomorrow's state semifinals against Natalie Allen of Holy Names.

Tan started the tournament off beating Sakura Porter of Evergreen 6-0, 6-3 and Alexis Filliol of West Valley 6-3, 6-3.

The winner of the semifinal will move on to the championship match. The loser will play for third or fifth place.

All other members of the Islanders tennis teams, both boys and girls, have advanced to the quarterfinals.
