Mercer Island Little League Giants win AAA Island city tournament | Sports brief

The Mercer Island Little League Giants team won the AAA Mercer Island city tournament at the end of May and was undefeated at the Bellevue/Mercer Island tournament, winning the title on June 15. The team beat the Bellevue West Diamondbacks, 15-8.

The team includes: coach Paul Ayan, Lukas Ayan, Brian Smoots, Blake Robertson, Maverick Emerson and William Pawlosky; (top row) Luke Seo, Cole Miller, Matthew Hershkowitz, Nikhil Nayar, coach John Merlo, Robert Weaver, Andrew Merlo, Trent Nielson and coach Mark Pawlosky. Not pictured: coach Doug Miller.
