Recycling Center exhibit has no connection with historical society | Letter

I would like to make a clarification to a letter to the editor that appeared in the Nov. 1 issue, in connection with an exhibit on the Recycling Center on display in the Mercer Island Library. This display has no connection whatsoever to the Mercer Island Historical Society; it does not have the support of the historical society; and no member of the historical society board was ever contacted about the display.

Mercer Island Historical Society president
