The art gallery at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center is reopening and will hold its annual holiday show, coordinated by the Mercer Island Visual Arts League, from Oct. 19 to Dec. 17.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Gallery patrons will need to sign in and follow all health and safety requirements.

* The Mercer Island Youth and Family Services Foundation has canceled the Pumpkin Walk due to pandemic requirements and challenges associated with coordinating a large-scale event, according to the city. City staff and the foundation are already discussing next year’s event.
