Knute “Skip” Berger will discuss Seattle history at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s March 30 meeting.

Berger will speak from 1-1:30 p.m. at All are welcome.

Berger is editor-at-large and an award-winning columnist for and host of the KCTS9-TV series of Northwest history shorts, “Mossback’s Northwest.” He is a regular commentator on KUOW and the author of two books: “Pugetopolis” and “Space Needle, Spirit of Seattle.” He wrote the introduction to the new edition of Roger Sale’s classic “Seattle Past to Present,” published in 2020 by University of Washington Press. Berger was previously editor-in-chief of Seattle Weekly. He is a Rainier Club Fellow and was born and raised in Seattle.
