Berger will speak at Rotary meeting on March 30

Knute “Skip” Berger will discuss Seattle history at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s March 30 meeting.

Berger is editor-at-large and an award-winning columnist for Crosscut.com and host of the KCTS9-TV series of Northwest history shorts, “Mossback’s Northwest.” He is a regular commentator on KUOW and the author of two books: “Pugetopolis” and “Space Needle, Spirit of Seattle.” He wrote the introduction to the new edition of Roger Sale’s classic “Seattle Past to Present,” published in 2020 by University of Washington Press. Berger was previously editor-in-chief of Seattle Weekly. He is a Rainier Club Fellow and was born and raised in Seattle.
