The Mercer Island Chamber of Commerce will hold its “Working Wellness” webinar from 8-9 a.m. Sept. 10.

Sponsored by Movement Systems Physical Therapy and Helix Sport and Spine, the webinar will feature Dr. Erica Clark from Movement and Dr. Ilan Green from Helix. They will discuss the health risks associated with working from-home (WFH).

“As we all adjust to a new normal of more WFH situations, we are finding out our bodies are experiencing some health issues with the continued sitting and isolated interactions,” reads the chamber web site.

Key talking points will be: risks of sitting, best practices for seated posture, creating a work-break routine, stretches and exercises and how to safely and optimally return to play during quarantine.

* The Mercer Island Radio Operators will conduct its virtual meeting from 7-8:30 p.m. on Aug. 20.

Other meetings are scheduled for Sept. 17, Oct. 15, Nov. 19 and Dec. 17.
