Several Island residents who play on the Dragons U13 baseball team won a USSSA tournament.

The team plays in the Washington state Koufax league, which consists of players from around the region. They won their first tournament of the season in Olympia.

The team includes Mercer Island residents Justin Myers, Scott Ramseyer, Brady Fritz, Luke Boxsem and Eric Dreyer.

The Dragons were 5-0 during the tournament, earning the No. 2 seed going into the elimination round, and won the championship under the lights on Sunday.
