Mercer Island Together, a nonprofit community support group, will hold a free End of Summer Picnic from noon to 4 p.m. Aug. 28 at Mercerdale Park. Residents are invited to bring their own food and a blanket for a relaxing afternoon of entertainment, refreshments, and special fun activities for kids of all ages.
