The city of Mercer Island held its Leap for Green Earth Day Fair: Taking Action! on April 22 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center. This free event celebrated Earth Day by promoting environmental practices and activities for kids and adults, and raised general awareness of local sustainability resources. Sponsored by Cedar Grove, the event featured sustainability vendors, electric vehicles, educational displays, entertainment, a petting zoo, food trucks and more.
