June 20

Vehicle theft: It was reported that a vehicle was stolen on the street in the 3000 block of 80th Avenue Southeast.

Welfare check: A welfare check was conducted for an elderly resident in the 4200 block of West Mercer Way who was recently hospitalized.

Weapons complaint: A juvenile was reported waving a gun in public in the 7700 block of Southeast 58th Street. Officers on the scene determined it to be a toy gun and advised the teen against displaying it in public.

June 19

Vehicle prowl: A vehicle was prowled in the 8400 block of Southeast 66th Street and stolen credit cards were used to make expensive purchases.

June 17

Theft: It was reported that someone siphoned gasoline from a boat in the 4100 block of East Mercer Way.

June 16

Theft: It was reported that someone swiped fire safety equipment from an apartment building in the 2700 block of 78th Avenue Southeast.

Smash-and-grab: In the 6800 block of Island Crest Way, someone smashed a vehicle window, stole a purse and used the credit cards fraudulently.

Theft: A mailbox break-in was reported in the 8400 block of West Mercer Way.

June 14

Suspicious activity: A shopping cart was found on a trail full of someone’s belongings in the 9100 block of Fortuna Drive.

Suspicious activity: A subject was spotted attempting to open car doors in the 2200 block of 80th Avenue Southeast. Officers couldn’t locate the subject.
