Mercer Island baseball, fastpitch fall to KingCo opponents | Prep results

The Mercer Island baseball and fastpitch teams both lost conference matches late last week. The fastpitch team lost 15-1 to Mount Si at home on Thursday, April 12, while the baseball team fell 5-4 to Bellevue on Friday afternoon.

The Mercer Island baseball and fastpitch teams both lost conference matches late last week. The fastpitch team lost 15-1 to Mount Si at home on Thursday, April 12, while the baseball team fell 5-4 to Bellevue on Friday afternoon.

During the game on Thursday, Mount Si scored 15 runs on 23 hits, while Mercer Island had one run on three hits and one error.

The fastpitch team will play Hazen on Monday afternoon at the South Mercer Playfields starting at 4:30 p.m. and the baseball team will host Sammamish at Island Crest Park tonight at 6 p.m.
