The Mercer Island eighth grade Cascade boys basketball team won the Mount Si Wildcat Classic over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.

The Mercer Island eighth grade Cascade boys basketball team won the Mount Si Wildcat Classic over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.

The Islanders beat the Wildcats in the championship game.

The team includes: Jesse Fulp, Caden Conder, Drew Christofferson, Conor King Goldman, Jamie Shannon, Thomas Krause, Sam Pugel, Jonny Osman, Nick Delman, Simon Eskenazi, Giebien Na and Nick Umlauf.

The team is coached by John Shaddle, who is assisted by David Loutsis.
