Sept. 27

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Graffiti was found spray painted on a tennis court and wall at 12:48 p.m. in the 2000 block of 72nd Ave. SE, causing $500 in damages.

THEFT: A victim’s bike was reported stolen from the Park and Ride at 5:34 p.m.

Sept. 28

MAIL THEFT: An Islander reported that an international package was stolen during the delivery process at 11:17 a.m. in the 8400 block of SE 47th St.

FRAUD: A victim reported identity theft concerning two credit card accounts and her Social Security number at 11:44 a.m. in the 8400 block of 85th Ave. SE.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE VIOLATION: Police arrested a subject on a misdemeanor warrant for theft out of Federal Way at 1:47 p.m. in the 9600 block of SE 36th St. Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act (possession without a prescription) was also reported.

THEFT: A female suspect stole an unknown amount of alcohol from the Rite Aid in the 3000 block of 78th Ave. SE at 7:06 p.m.

Sept. 29

FRAUD: A woman in the 3200 block of E. Lexington Way reported that an AT&T account was fraudulently opened in her name at 11:15 a.m.

MENTAL: Police responded to an incident in the 3000 block of 80th Ave. SE at 4:07 p.m. A woman held a knife to her throat, stating that she wanted to hurt herself.

IDENTITY THEFT: A victim in the 3200 block of E. Lexington Way said at 7:37 p.m. that his debit card was compromised and an unknown amount of money was taken from his account. His card was used at gas stations in Utah and Southern California. He reported the fraud to his bank.

BIKE THEFT: A victim said her bicycle was stolen out of her carport in the 4200 block of 92nd Ave. SE at 9:47 p.m. She heard a suspect take the bicycle, but did not see anything. A police area check was negative for the suspect.

Sept. 30

FOUND PROPERTY: A bicycle was found by residents walking on a trail in the 8700 block of N. Mercer Way at 8:39 a.m. It was placed in found property.

WARRANT ARREST: Police stopped a vehicle in the 2700 block of Bellevue Way SE in Bellevue at 8:56 a.m. after a computer check showed an arrest warrant. The driver was arrested and booked into King County Jail on a King County Sheriff’s Office warrant for theft. Bail was set at $500.

DRUG VIOLATION: A 16-year-old male Mercer Island High School student was found with a green vegetative substance and paraphernalia on his person in the 9100 block of SE 42nd St. at 3:01 p.m.

Oct. 1

FRAUD: A victim in the 5900 block of E. Mercer Way said at 2:16 p.m. that their personal information was used to fraudulently open two credit cards.

FOUND PROPERTY: Suspected drugs were found on the floor in the 7700 block of SE 34th St. at 5:40 p.m. and turned into police for destruction.

Oct. 2

THEFT: A victim in the 7700 block of Sunset Highway stated at 8:39 p.m. that a house guest stole several checks from his apartment, for a loss of $7,725.

Oct. 3

WARRANT ARREST: Police arrested a subject on an outstanding Mercer Island misdemeanor warrant in the 3600 block of E. Mercer Way at 1:57 a.m.
