The Mercer Island seventh grade Cascade basketball team recently won the Mount Si Wildcat Shootout.

The Mercer Island seventh grade Cascade basketball team recently won the Mount Si Wildcat Shootout.

The event, which took place on Sunday, Nov. 20, featured teams from around the area.

The Mercer Island Cascade team included: Matt Padgett, Justin Meyers, Mike Litzow, Jack Stefanchik, Mitch Mandt, Joshua Shin, Nathan Wu, Sami El-Rafey, Marcus Schiller, Ryan Liang, Joshua Swanson and Spencer Fuhr. The team is coached by Joseph Phillips.
