MIHS cheer team earns academic state title

The Mercer Island High School cheer team was named the 3A academic state champions with a combined 3.8 grade-point average. They are: front row (left to right): captains Stella Prophater, Ella Simpson, Carys Ciobanu and Sarah Kann.
