The Mercer Island PTA Council is accepting nominations for its awards that recognize stellar volunteers and organizations that have made a difference with students and families of the Mercer Island School District.

People can submit nominations by April 16 at https://miptacouncil.membershiptoolkit.com/packet/30117212. Awards will be presented at 9:30 a.m. on May 12 at the Congregational Church of Mercer Island.

The awards presented are for outstanding program, advocate, service and educator, community partner, children’s advocate, honorary lifetime PTA membership and the Golden Acorn Award, which is presented to a volunteer in recognition of outstanding service to all children in the school community.
