Oct. 24

Vehicle prowl: A resident in the 2900 block of 76th Avenue Southeast captured footage of a subject attempting to prowl his vehicle.

Marine incident: Marine patrol responded to reports of a windsurfer in distress on Lake Washington.

Unruly rider: A Metro bus driver asked officers for assistance in dealing with a threatening passenger on board in the 8000 block of North Mercer Way.

DUI: Officers arrested a resident on suspicion of DUI after they spotted the driver crashing into other vehicles in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street.

Oct. 22

Pedals to the metal: Police received reports of vehicles racing in a parking lot in the 4100 block of 81st Avenue Southeast.

Oct. 21

Missing adult found: Officers assisted in locating an elderly, lost resident and returning him home in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast.

Oct. 20

Missing fruit: A resident in the 2200 block of 77th Avenue Southeast reported that someone picked fruit from his tree.

Burglary: A resident in the 4100 block of 94th Place Southeast returned home to find a door open and noticed that someone rummaged through the house.

Oct. 18

Vehicle damage: A resident in the 9100 block of Southeast 42nd Street reported deliberate damage done to his vehicle.

House fire: Officers responded to a large house fire in the 8500 block of Southeast 82nd Street.

Stolen vehicle found: Officers located a stolen vehicle and assisted in returning it to the owner in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street.
