Oct. 24

Assistance: Police officers assisted the fire department on a medical call in the 7600 block of Southeast 40th Street.

Oct. 23

Assault: It was reported that an associate punched the victim in the face in the 7800 block of Southeast 27th Street.

Vehicle prowl: A vehicle prowl was reported in the 2500 block of 76th Avenue Southeast and property was stolen.

DUI: Police booked a subject for suspicion of driving under the influence in the 5400 block of East Mercer Way.

Oct. 22

Fraud: It was reported that in the 7900 block of Southeast 28th Street, a commission payment check was intercepted from a realtor’s office and attempted to be fraudulently cashed.

Oct. 20

Money owed: A caller in the 9600 block of Southeast 36th Street alerted police officers that a customer owed her money for products sold. The reporting party asked officers to scare the customer into paying for the goods, but the officers noted that isn’t a police service.

Traffic accident: A traffic accident with minor damage was reported in the 4500 block of Island Crest Way.

Oct. 19

Sign of the times: It was reported that political yard signs were stolen in the 7600 block of Southeast 34th Street.

Cash swiped: It was reported that a vehicle was prowled overnight and cash stolen in the 3800 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Health concerns: There were reports in the 7700 block of Shore Lane that a female was walking in the roadway displaying possible mental health issues.

Oct. 16

Unsatisfied sauce orderer: A restaurant customer in the 8400 block of Southeast 68th Street called police and said a server wasn’t polite when the customer asked for extra sauce. Police informed the caller that this isn’t a law enforcement matter.

Caught on camera: A subject in the 7000 block of Southeast 22nd Street was caught on Ring camera trying to remove a homeowner’s camera equipment.

Oct. 15

Vehicle prowl: It was reported in the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street that a vehicle was prowled and tools were stolen.

Area check: There were reports of a male screaming and talking to himself in the 3500 block of 96th Avenue Southeast. When officers contacted the subject, he refused any assistance.

Oh, deer: When a caller in the 9700 block of Southeast 41st Street called police regarding broken branches in the yard, officers determined the likely culprit to be a deer.

Oct. 14

Traffic accident: It was reported that a vehicle with faulty brakes collided with an embankment in the 2200 block of 72nd Avenue Southeast.

Harassment: Police were alerted about a civil issue regarding employees and upsetting emails in the 7000 block of Southeast 29th Street.

Oct. 13

Vehicle prowl: It was reported that a vehicle parked in the 7400 block of Mercer Terrace was rummaged through during the night.

Fraud: The reporting party in the 7800 block of Southeast 73rd Place discovered that someone applied for a small business loan using her name.
