Harassment: A resident in the 9000 block of West Shorewood Drive reported that her neighbor and their dogs aggressively bark at the caller’s cat. Police advised the caller to keep her cat inside her apartment.

Suspicious activity: A resident in the 3700 block of 79th Avenue Southeast reported that someone ransacked their home and the suspect deleted security footage.

Sept. 9

Vehicle theft: A vehicle was reported stolen overnight in the 9000 block of West Shorewood Drive.

Student located: Amid a widespread search for a missing kindergartener, the student was located at their school in the 3700 block of East Mercer Way participating with the wrong class.

Sept. 8

Suspicious activity: Officers investigated reports of gunshots in the 2900 block of 76th Avenue Southeast.

Concerned resident: A resident contacted police with concerns of voyeurism as the home renter spotted cameras inside the abode in the 9600 block of Southeast 36th Street.

Sept. 7

Fraud: A resident in the 5000 block of 84th Avenue Southeast reported stolen mail resulting in fraudulent voter registration.

Sept. 6

Marine incident: Marine patrol assisted a swimmer who ventured too far from shore in the Lake Washington east channel.

Theft: A park user in the 2000 block of 84th Avenue Southeast reported that their purse was stolen while it was left unattended.
