Vehicle damage: A resident of the 7700 block of Sunset Highway reported significant damage to their vehicle following an apparent attempted theft.

Gunshots heard, bullet found: Residents of the 8900 block of Southeast 54th Street reported hearing gunshots from a ravine and then finding a bullet lodged in the window of their home.

Vehicle theft: A resident reported that his locked vehicle was stolen from his driveway in the 8400 block of Southeast 44th Street.

May 14

DUI: After failing to stop for officers, a driver crashed their vehicle into a ravine and was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in the 7000 block of North Mercer Way.

Theft: A resident of the 7600 block of Southeast 27th Street reported that their cell phone was stolen.

Fraud: A resident of the 6800 block of 83rd Avenue Southeast reported that he noticed fraudulent charges on his bank accounts and that his personal information had been altered.

Vehicle prowl: Someone smashed a resident’s vehicle window and rummaged through the vehicle in the 8000 block of North Mercer Way.

Theft: A suspect pushed a shopping cart full of stolen merchandise out of a store in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street.

Theft: A resident in the 3000 block of 80th Avenue Southeast reported that someone stole the license plate from their vehicle.

May 8

Order violation: Officers arrested a subject in the 3500 block of 90th Avenue Southeast on suspicion of violating a restraining order.
