Tickets for a private event with Macklemore’s ‘Wanz’ at the Mercer Island Thrift Shop are still available.

Wanz, or Michael Wansley, sings a tag line in Macklemore’s popular song, “Thrift Shop.”

The exclusive thrift store shopping spree, to be held after hours at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, is the Mercer Island Preschool Association’s fundraiser for the Luther Burbank playground revitalization project.

Tickets cost $50 per person, and all ticket proceeds go directly toward the Luther Burbank playground. The thrift store will provide a 20 percent discount for purchases made.
