St. Monica opens new Parish Learning Center

St. Monica Catholic Church opened the doors to its newest addition at the beginning of December, the St. Monica Parish Learning Center.

The new building, which was just finished this winter, will be home to the St. Monica School pre-K program, as well as other various after-school care programs.

A major goal of the school was sustainability when creating the new space, located adjacent to the existing school library. The building was designed by Aubrey Davidson and the architect for the project was Thomas Holland, both of PTS in Seattle.

“Having such a bright and open dedicated building for these programs is something we have wanted for a number of years,” said Principal Pan Dellino in a press release. “The space will easily transition into a large meeting room for use by other parish ministries and groups.”
